Lou specializes in complex conditions for which clients have sought other therapies and have had unsatisfactory results. He uses a multi-faceted approach that addresses the body. His goal is not only to help people heal, but to teach the client to become there own therapist.

In addition to bodywork, Lou is an expert movement therapist. Enhancing movement patterns are an integral part of the effectiveness of the bodywork system he uses. Movement work is a part of every session.

Because of his expertise, some clients come solely for Performance enhancement.  They wish to run faster, swing a golf club more accurately, or play a musical instrument better.

Located in Oak Hill, just before the “Y”, the clinic offers clients a peaceful, grounded setting to receive work.

About Lou:

Lou first entered the healthcare system doing physical therapy at St. David’s Hospital, Austin, TX; there, he specialized in Manual therapy and had many physician referrals for his bodywork.  He  trained in Aston-Patterning® in Incline Village, NV with Judith Aston, completed all advanced coursework and is a Certified Aston-Patterning® Practitioner.  He also studied CranioSacral therapy with the Upledger Institute.  Over the last decade, he has trained with John Barnes completing advanced courses in Myofascial Release and is considered an Expert level Myofascial therapist.  As an expert movement therapist, Lou also utilizes Pilates to assist those clients who need core strengthening.

Lou has more than 25 years of bodywork experience and expertise.  This has given him the tools to give clients just what they need for their healing as, often, it is many aspects of the body that contribute to pain and disease.
